VHU – A member of Hung Hau Education accredited MOET’s Education Quality Assurance

Van Hien University hosted a ceremony for being accredited MOET Education Quality Assurance on June 6, 2020. New members of Board of Trustees and VHU Executive Board were also introduced.

Assoc.Prof. Nguyễn Quang Giao – Vice director of the Center for Education Accreditation – Da Nang University granted the Certificate of Educational Quality Accreditation to the representatives of Van Hien University Executive Board. 

The ceremony was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mai Van Trinh – Director of Quality Control Department, Mr. Bui Manh Nhi – Former head of Human resource Department – Ministry of Education and Training, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Quang Giao – Vice director of the Center for Education Accreditation – Da Nang University, as well as  representatives of business partners and alumni.

Assoc.Prof. Mai Văn Trinh – Director of Quality Control Department – Ministry of Education and Training made a congratulation speech at the ceremony.
Van Hien University has maintained internal assessment systems and worked closely with Center for Education Accreditation – Da Nang University since 2018 to complete the evaluation process of Education Quality Assurance. Through the evaluation process, VHU has been able to make a plan and strategy to overcome its weaknesses in order to develop VHU for years to come.

Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Quang Giao – Vice director of the Center for Education Accreditation – Da Nang University warmly congratulated the VHU, and expressed: “Educational accreditation is an important activity in the educational comprehensive renovation strategy for promoting and improving Vietnam education quality for students and society. The evaluation process will help universities understanding its strength and weakness at all angles so that the universities can layout plans to improve the weakness to serve students and society better. The evaluation report will be made published so that the certificate granted to VHU today will be a momentum and also challenges for VHU to continue its commitments for improving and renovating the VHU’s educational qualities”.
Center for Education Accreditation – Da Nang University delivered a congratulation present to VHU 
At the ceremony, Dr. Le Si Hai – a representative of Van Hien University Executive Board informed that: “VHU has always acknowledges that: Education Accreditation will hold VHU and its employees’ accountability to constantly improve its quality in every activity. The evaluation process has helped VHU reviewing all its activities in order to adjust its system for achieving higher standards. The certificate being granted today was the results of VHU great efforts from the past years committing to achieve excellent service in higher education in Vietnam”.
 Dr. Lê Sĩ Hải – representatives of Van Hien University Executive Board made a speech at the ceremony. 
VHU introduces new Board of Trustees term 2020 – 2025 and a new executive board. The Board of Trustees comprises of 15 members including 10 investors, 3 VHU’s employees and 2 invited members.

Board of Trustees will succeed VHU’s achievements for last 23 years to promote VHU becoming a leading institution in applied science in Vietnam and stepping up to the international standards. VHU continues to embrace its own philosophy “ Thành nhân trước thành danh – Being a good human before being a successful worker” and believes that this philosophy will continue to be spread from VHU’s students to society.

Van Hien University is a multidisciplinary and prestigious higher education institution in Vietnam with one PhD major, three MS majors and 26 other BS majors. VHU has offered eight new majors in 2020 including one PhD major, two MS majors and five BS majors.
